Thank you for playing Create a Word. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Create a Word mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Create a Word is designed to be a local two-player game and does not require accounts or user profiles.

Gameplay runs locally on your device. If you choose to purchase premium access, certain purchase-related information is processed to complete transactions, verify entitlements, and restore purchases.

This may include purchase history, subscription status, lifetime purchase status, and limited technical information required to manage access to premium features. 

Payments are processed by Apple through its In-App Purchase system. 

We do not receive or store payment card details. 

We do not collect names, emails, or contact information through the app.

2. How the App Works

Create a Word is a local two-player word game designed to be played on a single device.

· Player names are entered locally for display purposes only

· Game settings (rounds, minimum letters, theme) exist only during gameplay

· We do not automatically validate spoken words. Players decide whether a word is valid.

Pro features are unlocked based on your purchase status. The game can be played offline, but subscription status may be checked to confirm access to Pro features and to support restore purchases.

3. Third-Party Services

Create a Word uses third-party services for payment and purchase management:

· Apple In-App Purchases, used to process payments for subscriptions and one-time purchases

· RevenueCat, used to manage entitlements, subscription status, lifetime access, and restore purchases. 

These services may process purchase-related and limited technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4. Children’s Privacy

Create a Word does not require account creation and is designed to run without collecting personal information such as name, email, or contact details.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will address it.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed in connection with the app.

Payments are handled through Apple’s in app purchase system. We do not collect or store payment card information.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
